To provide our concierge sourcing services, we collect the following:

• Identity & Contact Data: First name, last name, email address, phone number, and company name.
• Technical Requirements: Details regarding your hardware requests, target budgets, and condition preferences.
• File Uploads: Any documents, network diagrams, or specifications you upload to our secure portal.

3. Purpose of Data Collection

We collect this data strictly to:

• Create and manage your secure client account.
• Source requested hardware and provide accurate quotations.
• Communicate with you regarding active tickets via email and our portal.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Data Sharing & Confidentiality

To fulfill your hardware requests, we may share anonymized hardware requirements with our third-party suppliers. Your direct contact information and uploaded proprietary documents (such as network schematics) are treated as strictly confidential and are only viewed by authorized Tech-Concierge administrators.

5. Data Retention & Destruction

We retain your data only as long as necessary to fulfill your request, uphold warranties, or comply with South African accounting laws. Automated Cleanup: If a hardware request ticket requires your input and remains inactive for 30 consecutive days, the system automatically closes the ticket. Non-essential data associated with closed tickets may be purged during routine database maintenance.

6. Security Measures

We employ industry-standard security protocols, including bcrypt password hashing, secure session management, and isolated file upload directories with deep MIME-type inspection to prevent malicious uploads and unauthorized access.

7. Your Rights Under POPIA

Under POPIA, you have the right to:

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
• Request corrections to inaccurate data.
• Request the deletion of your account and associated data.
